WebThe disk getting surprised removed, at least in my case, was actually the volume shadow copy for a quiesced VMware VM snapshot, which actually gets mounted as a disk. Once I figured that out, I ignored these errors. I've seen this before, but usually when something has gone wrong with an iSCSI target. WebI've had this issue with surprise remove disks and device manager full of hidden xvd and volume devices left over from the Xbox app since I first installed it in beta. They never seem to have fixed it so I constantly clean them from my device manager and just ignore the warnings in event viewer as the games seem to run fine. Reply
