Web25 jun. 2011 · Abstract. The angular dependences of 19 F NMR spectra have been measured in the external magnetic field of 0.5 T oriented in the basis plane of LiTbF 4 at the room temperature. We have obtained the constants of transferred hyperfine interaction and the corrected set of crystal field parameters for the Tb 3+ ions in LiTbF 4. WebThe structure of three rare earth hexaborides, NdB 6 , EuB 6 and YbB 6 , was studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The refinements indicated boron vacancies for EuB 6 and YbB 6 , but the site occupancies of NdB 6 were strongly model dependent, showing either boron or metal vacancies.
