NettetMy favorite 1950s sci fi movie. It Came From Outer Space (1953) is another good one, IMO. It has a similar vibe to TTFAW and is one of the smarter 50s creature features. I would also recommend The Crawling Eye (1958) (sometimes called The Trollenberg Terror ). It pushed the limits of acceptable gruesomeness in the 1950s, and is still a fun watch.
