Sylvia formations preserved in drill core ABDP9). Web1 feb. 2024 · The chert bands are intercalated with fine-grained siliciclastic and carbonate beds of the upper Wittenoom Formation, Mount Sylvia Formation, and Mount McRae Shale, which represent distal turbidites and hemi-pelagites deposited on a deep-water shelf floored by continental crust (Krapež et al., 2003, Simonson et al., 1993).
